April
23rd at a Venue in Rhyl, Callum Lloyd of the MaesG Boxing
Club became yet again another proud winner.Callum who lives
in Maesgeirchen with his parents Kevin and Diane Lloyd trains
at the MaesG Boxing club which is run from a "Garage".
They have as yet been unable to obtain funds or help to get
their own training facilities along the lines of the Caernarfon
Boxing club.The unpaid dedicated volunteer Trainers have produced
7 Welsh Champions from their Garage over the years it has
been running. Jim Stenson and Brian Williams have provided
somewhere for local lads with an interest to show great achivements
from so little.They do have some local sponsers who help with
travel,Kit etc but deserve so much more.
It
seems requests for help fall on deaf ears! unless you know
better? Let us know if you do we could do with some good news
for the Boxing Club enthusiasts.
