Clearing of Bishops Mill Lane to
Cycle Path
(near Min y Ddol) 15/2/03
This
week has seen the men and machines move in on the clearing of the
Old Bishops Mill Road - the access area at the back of Min y Ddol
that goes down to the River where the Cycle Path is (old Line Bach
).
Here are 3 photos taken after the machines had gone for the weekend
and a much improved access, even if still a little messy (at least
there is progress).

Keeping
this newly cleared area continually clear is going to be a big job
in itself as we all have had experience of the secret tippers who
seem to appear under the cloak of darkness to get rid of their rubbish.
If we want progress and we want some nice summer walks and places
for the kids to walk without falling on broken glass, bits of baked
bean tins (and falling on those are the least of our worries compared
to some of the things now thrown on the ground) we all need to be
vigilant and watch for the tippers.
