You
will be pleased to know that money has been made available
for the "cage" ( enclosed Football area) so that
the fencing and floor can be renewed and also the lighting.
I am sure it will be welcomed.Talking to Paul Hockeday this
week he mentioned how the youth themselves are now also taking
a keen interest in the plans for the new construction and
how one casually passed a remark that they would "be
watching" no one messed it up again, referring to the
constant mindless vandalism the Cage has taken since it was
first built. You couldn't have a better group of protectors
than Maesg's own once they have made their mind up to "take
care" of something they have an interest in. Once again,
top marks to those involved. I know they couldn't have a nicer
bloke in charge of trying to get things off the ground than
Paul Hockaday. I hope you all give them your help and support.
