This
report from 007 made my blood boil yesterday and 007 has a
very expressive way with words which I would truly love to
put down as he tell's me but I am not quite sure what the
response of my readers would be so unfortunately I have to
somewhat "dilute" the manner in which it is reported
to me. Sorry 007! :-(
The fact is that with well over £30,000 pounds now having
been spent in renovating the Swing Play area at Tan y Bryn
you get the local yob's who decide that it would be a great
game to start rip up the protective rubber mats that would
save our youngsters from getting hurt if they fall over, now
as if that is not bad enough these yob's decided to give us
a Bonus, " how about if we slackened off some of the
nuts and bolts on the equipment" Now its at this point
that 007's expressive language becomes very plain.
Now I know its becoming a world where we turn a blind eye
at times, but we have a warden who now patrols the area, he
is in contact with the police and all you have to do is pick
up the phone. There is many a net cutain getting twiched and
you do SEE what these people are doing, ok so you don't have
to confront them, you don't have to be foolish and put yourself
in danger, but a telephone call could stop our little one's
who might get on the next swing with the bolts cut loose from
being permanantly injured, or worse killed if they fall wrong.
